Return Policy:
Sonoma Outfitters has been your source for outdoor clothing and
gear for over 30 years. Based in Santa Rosa, California, we take
pride in selling high quality equipment and clothing. Our customers
trust us to have knowledgeable employees who use the equipment and
wear the clothing we sell.
Your satisfaction is very important to
us. We are happy to help you choose the correct gear and clothing
to suit your needs. We make every effort to ensure your order is
correct, shipped to you as quickly as possible, and arrives in great
condition. We understand that not every purchase will always be quite
the right size, shape or color, and occasionally you may need to
return something. You can count on us to assist with exchanges and
returns as well.
Please Note: If you would like a credit or refund, please call us within 30 days of receiving your order so we may issue you a Return Authorization (RA) number.

We understand that not everyone
likes to wait until the last minute to do their holiday shopping.
We don't believe that you should be punished for getting a head start
by not being able to return an item that doesn't end up working out.
Therefore, we are extending our return policy. Feel free to shop
early knowing that if your gift does not work out you can return
it to us anytime prior to January 8, 2013. Please follow our regular
return policy and be sure to contact us to get a Return Authorization
number prior to January 8th. Our regular return procedure is below.
Please read our return procedures carefully before returning any
merchandise.
If for any reason you are not happy with the item(s)
ordered, please follow these instructions to make a return/exchange.
We gladly accept items back that are less than 30 days from the date
of purchase. Items must be in salable condition including the original
tags, labels, or shoebox if applicable.
Step 1: Email support@sonomaoutfitters.com and request a Return Authorization Number within 30 days of receiving your merchandise. Please include the last 5 digits of your invoice number in the email. The invoice number is located in the upper right hand corner of the invoice that was included in the shipping box. If you cannot locate the invoice, you can include the last 5 digits of the Receipt Number that was emailed to you. You can also call us at 800-290-1920 Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm Pacific Time.
Step 2: Package up your return. Please include a copy of your invoice inside your package. If you are returning footwear, please place the shoebox in an outer box and do not use the shoebox as the shipping box.
Note: Shipments Returned Without R A Numbers Will be Refused!
Step 3: Write your Return Authorization Number on the outside of the shipping box. Please make sure that it is legible
Step 4: Ship the package to us. We recommend using a service that offers insurance and tracking to make sure that the package gets back to us. We will only accept responsibility for the package once we have signed for it.
Processing Returns:
Refunds: Once we have received the returned merchandise
in the condition you described over the phone, a credit will be issued
to the credit card used to purchase the item(s) being returned. The
credit will be equal to the price you paid for the merchandise, plus
any sales tax (if applicable) that was charged. Please note that
credits usually takes from 1 to 2 weeks to be processed.

Exchanges: If you would like to exchange any merchandise,
please call us within 30 days of receiving your order so we may issue
your return authorization number. We will also discuss availability
of the size or color you need, similar or alternative options if
preferred or needed. Call right away for the best selection as many
popular items can sell out quickly.

Shipping Charges
Wrong Merchandise: If you have to exchange merchandise because of an error Sonoma Outfitters has made, we will ship the item free of charge via FedEx Ground to your address.
Retroactive Shipping Charges: If your original order qualified for FREE shipping, and the returned merchandise from that order is less than the original free shipping minimum, then your order no longer qualifies for free shipping and your refund balance will be adjusted to reflect the original shipping charges that would have been applied.
Please note that you must call for a return authorization number before sending any merchandise for return, exchange or refund!
