Patagonia's classic Wavefarer board shorts weigh in a tad lighter and get flexible, thanks to a 3.3-oz 100% stretch-woven polyester fabric. They're still chafe-proof, with a forward seam at the crotch and a length that hits just below the knee to prevent wax-rash. The low-rise 3-piece, self-lined waistband contours to the hip line, and features our new flat-lying, heavy-duty webbing in the lace-up, rubber-button fly. The easy-access, self-draining side zip pocket has a key loop and a corrosion-proof plastic zipper pull.
