The durable water repellency treatment (DWR) found on most outerwear prevents water from soaking into the fabric. Over time, dirt and airborne contaminates will settle on the fabric and mask the effectiveness of the DWR. Many commercial detergents and soaps contain fabric softeners, perfumes and bleaches that should be avoided for use on technical garments. Grangers cleaners are formulated to thoroughly clean and revive DWR without leaving any residues or stripping the factory applied DWR from the fabric. |
