Ibex co-founder, Peter Helmetag has a long family connection to wool. A Vermont sheep farmer, his grandfather owned a wool mill in Pennsylvania - wool was his lifeblood. Rockclimbing seriously since he was a teen, Peter knows the outdoors and the importance of great high-performance clothing. He and his partner, fellow outdoor enthusiast John Fernsell, also feel sustainability is of utmost importance. Made in the USA, Ibex is committed to supporting local industry.
