About Sawyer Paddles and Oars

Sawyer Paddle & Oars™ was founded in 1967 by Ralph Sawyer in Rogue River, Oregon. Utilizing thin laminates of woods salvaged from local sawmills in the Rogue Valley, Ralph would add incredible strength with layered fiberglass and resin reinforcement. Sawyer's paddles quickly became recognized for their innovative designs and tough, lightweight, functional beauty.
